Kay Jewelers’ first diamond-studded Baby Yoda pendant was a welcome bit of galactic escapism during the thick of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic last year.
Now the retailer is revisiting the sweet-and-squat sci-fi character as part of an entire collection celebrating Star Wars’ Mandalorian franchise. This week, Kay released an assortment of limited-edition Mandalorian-themed jewelry featuring sterling silver with diamond pavé, 10k yellow gold, and a single beautiful green tourmaline.
At the heart of the six-piece collection are representations of the Mandalorian, the bounty hunter with a heart of gold! Two of the six designs riff on the Mandalorian visor: a subtle silver ring with black diamonds (see below) and a necklace anchored by the bounty hunter’s entire helmet, studded with white diamonds.
There’s also a shapely 10k yellow gold and sterling silver Ahsoka (an homage to Jedi padawan Ahsoka Tano), and a necklace that depicts Baby Yoda, with a vivid green tourmaline for a face, riding in his egg-shaped hovering bassinet.
The collection pieces comes packaged in fantastical Star Wars–branded black boxes that, when opened, emit bands of lightsaber-esque light. Prices range from $300 to $400; the collection is currently available on Kay.com.
